Hybridge® Full-Arch Dental Implant Solutions

Those suffering from full-arch tooth loss due to any number of factors know the embarrassment and limitations of missing teeth. If you are missing an entire arch, you may believe your options are limited to removable dentures or multiple, single-implants or that attaining a complete smile is simply out of reach. Drs. Adam and Hal Kimowitz offer advanced, modern hybrid options that combine prosthetic devices with dental implants, for a permanent, stable smile.

Hybridge® is a revolutionary dental implant system ideal for those with complex dental issues who are looking for a simple, long-lasting solution. Hybridge implants:

  • Replace an entire arch of missing teeth
  • Preserve bone health, unlike dentures that rest on the gums

Hybridge® Dental Implants

Hybridge dental implants can be used to replace all of the teeth in either the upper or lower jaw, or both. Five or six dental implants are surgically placed per arch with guided implant technology, and a prosthesis is secured on top. Hybridge restorations are lasting solutions for those missing teeth due to gum disease, predisposed conditions or injury.

Hybridge also offers a cost-effective approach:

  • Fewer implants are needed to support a denture or bridge
  • Reduced number of appointments
  • Decreased need for bone graft

Other Full-Arch Replacement Options:

  • Option 1: The Hybridge Full Arch
  • Option 2: Hybridge Express
    • At Hybridge, patients who are going through a full mouth restoration will always receive temporary teeth the same day their natural teeth are removed. Typically, the temporary teeth are in the form of a temporary denture. For some patients, wearing a temporary denture during the healing phase is uncomfortable or does not provide them the level of function desired. Hybridge Express can be an answer for those patients. Hybridge Express is a temporary Hybridge that can be placed either the day after the removal of the natural teeth, or 10 days later, during the suture removal appointment. Hybridge Express is made of a temporary material that is designed to last during the healing phase, while allowing the patient to have a fixed restoration in place for a greater sense of comfort and function.
  • Option 3: The Hybridge Overdenture
    • Conventional dentures are sometimes a good option for full mouth tooth replacement because they can be the most cost-effective way to replace all of the upper teeth, lower teeth, or both. With well-made complete dentures, patients should minimally expect to restore their esthetics and facial support.
The biggest disadvantages of complete dentures are a greatly diminished ability to chew due to their poor stability and retention. Most denture wearers would say that wearing a lower denture is much more limiting and problematic than wearing an upper denture. Because a lower denture is often a patient’s biggest complaint, implants can be used to improve the functionality of a denture by creating a mechanism for it to snap on to the implants. This type of implant-retained denture is often called an Overdenture.

Hybridge Overdenture LowerThis type of implant solution is most often used on the lower jaw to improve a loose or unstable lower denture. We would rarely recommend this type of a treatment on the upper jaw, as it works much better on the lower. For patients looking for a better way to wear a lower denture, the Hybridge Overdenture establishes stability and retention by snapping a removable denture onto at least two dental implants. Using an “implant attachment” mechanism on the top of an implant, the denture snaps on and off upon insertion and removal. This solution significantly improves the level of comfort and function that is typically at issue with a lower denture. Patients looking for the most cost-effective way to avoid the challenges of wearing a denture should consider the Hybridge Overdenture.
